About PGC Birdie Challenge

Objective

The aim of the birdie challenge is to birdie each of the 18 holes on Penrith Golf Course during Saturday competition rounds only.

Rules

The birdie challenge season will start with the first Saturday round in March and will run up to the last Saturday in February.

There will be 3 handicap categories:

  • Handicap Up to 5.9
  • Handicap 6.0 to 10.9
  • Handicap 11.0 and up

Each player will be assigned a handicap category based on their GA handicap as of their sign up date.

Only birdies or better achieved during a Saturday competition round at Penrith Golf Club will count.

The first to achieve birdies on all 18 holes in each division is the winner. If multiple players within the same handicap category complete their 18 birdies on the same Saturday, then a winner will be decided on count back.

A players birdies achieved on any Saturday round during the season are not eligible until they have paid their entrance fee of $50 to Tim.
